Awarded as one of the world's best olive oils for 2023, Darmmess is a green, peppery, and grassy EVOO coming exclusively from Deir Mimas village, Southern Lebanon, commonly referred to as the "Bordeaux of Lebanese olive oils".

We invite you to embark on a path to deliciousness and freshness of Deir Mimas' ancient olive groves, brought straight to your table.

This gastronomic EVOO offers you a flavorful journey, with its complex, yet, harmonious taste, reminiscent of unripe "Souri" green olives, some bitter spicy notes and a green fruitiness. 

Certified High Phenolic / High Antioxidant

Analyzed at University of Athens, Greece, 2023 Darmmess is awarded the Silver Standards of Excellence for High Phenolic Extra virgin Olive Oils , measuring between 500 and 631 mg/kg of total polyphenols.

The daily consumption of 20g ( 2 tablespoons) , provides  “off the scale” health benefits, thanks to its very high content in polyphenols, presenting an important biological activity, related with anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, cardioprotective and neuroprotective activities.

According to the Regulation 432/2012 of the European Union, Darmmess belongs to the category containing >5 mg per 20 gr, that protect the blood lipids from oxidative stress.

Since early 2021, Darmmess embraced willingly the social enterprise business model. Our priorities became centered around supporting and empowering our local community. We make up for the marketing and distribution gaps in the value chain of our farmers, while providing them with a professional technical assistance around best organic agricultural practices. All united, we thrive towards building a global territorial branding of Deir Mimas village and advance towards our goals of reducing waste and carbon emissions.

The "Bordeaux Of Lebanese Olive Oils"

Transparent and traceable, Darmmess comes exclusively from Deir Mimas, commonly referred to as the “Bordeaux of Lebanese Olive Oils”. Home to 150,000 ancient olive trees harking back to Biblical times, this authentic small village is blessed with a white soil naturally rich in clay, a temperate climate and an ideal altitude. Deir Mimas makes a uniquely favorable environment for olive groves, in Lebanon.

Aroma: A pleasant EVOO with great fruit character and medium notes of green olives. Its smell is herbaceous and displaying evident notes of various fruits (orange, apple, avocado), completed by hint of green tomato and cut grass. Well balanced and fine in a mouth, with a good relationship between bitterness, and pungent notes of artichoke, arugula and pink pepper.

pepper ends.
